Helen died of a heart attack suddenly at the wheel of her car. She was transferred to Elizabeth General Hospital, but didn't make it. She was cremated at the Rosehill Crematory on 29 March 1942, Linden, NJ. She was a very loving, friendly woman according to all who knew her. I never met her, but wish I had. She and her husband,William L. Prince, raised my husband, William Louis Prince, Jr. (named after his uncle) from the time he was small. The Princes were very close to Sadie, his mother, and Joseph Knight, his father. Joseph was Helen's brother. As Bill was growing up he always saw his sisters and brothers at school and at home. They visited often because they lived very close to each other. The Princes also raised two other boys, Johnny and Bill Dombroski, brothers to each other, but unrelated to the Princes. Johnny took the name Prince and later married Eileen Reilly, daughter of Patrick O'Reilly, Jr., Sadie's brother.
